In Black and White:
In the age of “Spin and Disinformation”, and despite all the available technology, which supposedly increases the means of communication, we are now less informed about our world, our region, our society even our neighbours then ever before ;as Baudrillard wrote: “the present virtual world information is now a combination of contamination and dissemination”. Very little is presently known through the highly controlled and manipulated small screens that have flooded our minds - the “big picture” is now reduced to a limited “narrow band”.

Our attempt is to offer one alternative through the simplicity and creativity of images. Through the lack of “copyright control”, we will limit the means that would distort the source and “motif” behind the photograph and information.
It’s a free zone, where the forces that control the “media channels” will have a little less say, and people will perhaps have a chance to see, and be further informed, exposed and touched by the images.
We invite anyone with a camera, to use the imagination, and capture in black white, an image that can make a difference in some shape or form to individuals and people all around the world.
These images can be freely used, copied and distributed through any means world wide, by anyone, organisation or institution with the exception of any use or intent for commercial purposes or to make a profit, directly or indirectly.
